Owner - Chef Timothy Rijs and his family welcome you to Alma's restaurant.

Timothy has lived in this area for all of his life and he knows exactly what is needed after an adventurous day of boating the tranquillity of the Gippsland Lakes.

Gathering knowledge from the very beginning of his career, Timothy was just 21 years old when he became head chef of Bairnsdale's Riversleigh Restaurant.
Before becoming the chef that he is today, he furthered his career in such places as Arthurs Seat, The Boathouse in Frankston, the Bairnsdale RSL and a prestigious restaurant in the UK. Timothy has taken all of his knowledge from the past fourteen years and recreated the ALMA'S experience.
